Common Qualifying Conditions
Acute pain
Pain that lasts 2 weeks or longer for an acute condition, such as a surgical procedure.
Chronic pain
Persistent pain lasting longer than 2 weeks that is not adequately managed by conventional medications (besides opioids or opiates) or physical interventions.
PTSD*
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) that is being treated by a therapist and has been diagnosed and documented in your record.
